FREE Volunteer Coordinator Workshops

Are volunteers passing you by?

Has your sports club ever thought about how you recruit new volunteers or manage the ones you've got? If that vital person in your club left tomorrow how would replace them or find someone else to help run your weekly activities.

You might even have a task at your club that no one ever takes responsibility for and without realising there could be a volunteer locally or within the club who would be willing to lend a hand or have that specific skill that you need.

PRO-ACTIVE North London is offering the opportunity to attend a FREE workshop aimed at supporting your club or sports organisation in your crucial role of overseeing and recruiting club volunteers.

This practical three-hour workshop will help clubs:

• Understand the role of a volunteer coordinator
• Help establish a volunteer action plan
• Explore programmes that support volunteer action planning
• Develop your volunteers
• Explore new ideas to help keep your club's volunteers happy

Time: 6.30pm - 9.30pm

Venue: Middlesex University, Hendon Campus, Hendon

Price: FREE

Clubs benefit greatly just from having a single contact that coordinates their volunteers, knows them all by name and what each of them does. This workshop delivered by runningsports draws on the best practice  to develop the role of a volunteer coordinator within your club or organisation.

The workshop tutor will also be accompanied by local volunteer officers providing local guidance and knowledge to support some actions raised at the workshop.
